Pricing
Every app is free for sites of up to 10 users. Above that each one is priced per user per month, the rate falls as the site grows, and Atlassian does the billing.

How billing works
- Users means the product’s users. A Jira app is billed for the number of Jira users on the site and a Confluence app for the number of Confluence users, whether or not they all use the app.
- The bands add up. A site with 150 users pays the first rate for 100 of them and the second rate for the other 50. It is not the lower rate for everyone.
- Monthly follows your user count. Each month is charged for the users you have that month.
- Annual is ten months’ price for twelve. You pick a user tier (15, 25, 50, 100, 200 and so on) and pay for that tier up front, so the calculator rounds your number up to the next tier.
- Every app starts with a free trial of at least 30 days, run by Atlassian. Nothing is charged until it ends.
- Some things stay free on bigger sites. One Digest subscription, and the single-issue zip and direct download in Satchel for Jira, work without a licence.
Atlassian sets the invoice, the currency and the tax, and its figure is the one that counts. Each app’s Marketplace listing has the full table for larger sites.
Early customers
These apps are new, and the first sites to rely on one are doing us a favour. If you are evaluating an app or have just started paying for one, ask for a discount through the support portal. Say which app and roughly how many users, and we will reply with a Marketplace promotion code you apply at checkout. The same goes for a site that wants several of the apps.
